Charges laid after Lacombe Police Service received a report of a stolen vehicle

It was determined the vehicle had been stolen during a home invasion and robbery

On Feb. 6th, 2018, the Lacombe Police Service received a report of a vehicle which had been stolen from the Parkland Acres trailer park in Lacombe.

During the course of this investigation, it was determined that the vehicle had been stolen on the 4th of February during a home invasion and robbery.

As a result, the following subjects have been charged with offences under the Criminal Code.

Wade Catlin Bean, 22, from Alder Flats had been charged with unlawfully in a dwelling house (one count); robbery (one count); theft of a motor vehicle (one count); possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (one count) and uttering threats (one count).

Sena Ruth Jesson, 26, from Alder Flats has been charged with the following offences - unlawfully in a dwelling house (one count); robbery (one count); theft of a motor vehicle (one count) and uttering threats (one count).

Bean and Jesson were both remanded in custody with Bean’s next court appearance scheduled for March 6th and Jesson’s scheduled for March 8th in Red Deer Provincial Court.

In this incident the victim and the two accused are known to one another so police want to let the community know that there is no ongoing risk to public safety.
