The City of Lacombe has publicly released its 2017 Year in Review, a report to the community, as a digital publication on its web site.

“On behalf of council and staff, I am pleased to present this publication to our residents and stakeholders,” said Mayor Grant Creasey. “This report highlights the work done by council and City staff over the past year to serve the public interest, and summarizes the value ratepayers received for their tax dollars.”

This synopsis highlights some of the many accomplishments of the City of Lacombe in 2017: from undertaking major construction projects to maintaining and enhancing civic infrastructure; to laying the foundation for future growth through responsible planning; and adding to the richness of the community by enhancing community events and festivals. The report also includes City department and agency highlights.

“As we have in the past, we will continue to work to ensure that the City of Lacombe is a true partner to residents, business, industry, community organizations and other levels of government by sharing our knowledge, expertise and resources for the betterment of our community,” said Acting Chief Administrative Officer Matthew Goudy.
