On Dec. 11, the Lacombe Big Brothers Big Sisters and Lacombe & District MADD Chapter held their annual Charity Checkstop. $4,968.68 in cash was collected, along with a truck load of toys for Santa’s Anonymous and several pounds of food for the Food Bank.
