F. Muir Adair

F. Muir Adair served during World War 2, he was a Flight Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1941-1945.

F. Muir Adair served during World War 2, he was a Flight Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1941-1945.

During that time he was part of the Combined Operations Unit 15082 GCI.

After landing on Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944, Flt. Sgt. Adair was always in the front of the battle. From D-Day until the fall of Paris he oversaw the major part of the men and equipment of 15082.

His unit was responsible for the destruction of over 50 enemy aircraft.

While serving, Adair earned and proudly wore the following medals:Defense of Britain Star
