Private Keith Miller served from June 28, 1940, until Sept. 25, 1945.
He was a coal miner from New Brunswick who left his wife Josephine and two young sons, Gary and Cedric to serve his King and Country at 27 years of age.
He later had another son Glen in 1946 who has lived in Lacombe for 40 years.
