The City of Lacombe is pleased to announce that the Light Up the Night fireworks are being held at 8 p.m. on December 21 at Cranna Lake, so that residents can celebrate the holiday season with family and friends.
Cranna Lake is now fully frozen and open to the public for skating and tobogganing, weather permitting. We will have the fire pits on hand to keep everyone toasty, and Tim Horton’s will be on-site with their community truck providing hot chocolate and coffee for all.
“If you have not seen the spectacular fireworks display against this beautiful wintry backdrop, it is really is a remarkable sight, so please dress warmly and join in the festive fun,” said Community Economic Development Manager Guy Lapointe.

Residents are advised that the Cranna Lake pathway, from approximately the football field east to the trail running adjacent to City Hall (see map below), will be closed from 3:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. to accommodate preparations for the fireworks show.
