During the season of harvest festivals, there are plenty of wonderful foods from Canada

During the harvest season, there are plenty of opportunities to appreciate Canada’s agricultural bounty.

Each year late summer and early fall, communities across Canada hold fall fairs and agricultural exhibitions in celebration of local foods and farms.

There are also specialized events including a celebration of hot peppers in British Columbia, a poutine festival in Ontario, a butter tart festival in Ontario, a lobster festival in New Brunswick, a corn and apple festival in Manitoba and several garlic festivals in British Columbia.

No matter what your food preference, there is likely a festivity that will appeal to your taste buds.
