The Seeds of Hope Family Learning series is run across Canada by local Alzheimer Societies.
Four series are offered, one for each stage of dementia. Each series is broken down into individual topics designed to help families and caregivers of people with dementia understand the journey and to recognize and navigate through typical challenges.
Other sessions will cover planning ahead and learning more about dementia and will be presented by professionals from within the community.
The next session of the Seeds of Hope will begin Oct. 17 in Red Deer and is part of the free programming provided by the Alzheimer Society of Alberta & NWT.
