Smile Cookie funds donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lacombe and District

$9,770 raised through annual Tim Horton’s initiative

On Jan. 10, Big Brothers Big Sisters received a $9,770 cheque from the 2019 Smile Cookie Proceeds. These funds are thanks to the everyone who bought smile cookies, volunteered to decorate them and to the Tim Horton’s teams. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lacombe and District are very appreciative of these funds as money is very tight for our charity this time of year. Proceeds are being dedicated to the Lacombe and Blackfalds youth mentoring programs to help kids reach their fullest potential. (Photo submitted by BBBS Lacombe)
