New year Lacombe Museum exhibit - 1867 Rebellion & Confederation

The Lacombe Museum’s first exhibition of the new year will be 1867 Rebellion & Confederation, a traveling exhibition created by the Canadian History Museum. The exhibit, in which leading historians Éric Bédard, Charlotte Gray, and Christopher Moore shares the perspectives on some of the pivotal moments on the road to Confederation.

The Lacombe Museum’s first exhibition of the new year will be 1867 Rebellion & Confederation, a traveling exhibition created by the Canadian History Museum. The exhibit, in which leading historians Éric Bédard, Charlotte Gray, and Christopher Moore shares the perspectives on some of the pivotal moments on the road to Confederation.

It will be paired with artifacts and stories from the Lacombe and Central Alberta region that share diverse perspectives and storytelling curated by the Lacombe Museum staff and volunteers.

The exhibition will run from Jan. 1 to March 26. 2022 at the Lacombe Flatiron Building Museum.
