Experience an evening of music, history, and storytelling as Tim Isberg, acclaimed singer-songwriter, veteran soldier, and gifted storyteller, takes the stage at the Manluk Theatre on April 5.
The show is the first of his Prairie Fire tour, after his third album of the same name which was released in 2024. The album tells the history of the Canadian West.
Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Isberg's third album, Prairie Fire, released in 2024, is a history-themed album of the Canadian West.
"Prairie Fire brings to life the captivating tales of the 19th-century Canadian Prairies through original story songs that immerse audiences in the triumphs and struggles of the past," reads a press release.
"His engaging stage presence and passion for Canada’s past make this a must-see event."
His music is described as a blend of folk and roots music, with his performances rich in history and emotion.
Canadian Beats called the alternative rock album, "(a) diverse array of songs and melodies (that) captures the essence of the frontier spirit, honouring the courage, perseverance, and enduring legacy of those who dared to dream on the edge of the unknown."
A veteran of multiple overseas deployments, Rwanda to Afghanistan and missions in between, Isberg's life experience adds depth and authenticity to his storytelling.
"Tim Isberg's career has taken him to some rough corners of the globe ... and provided musical inspiration along the way," his website, timisberg.com, says.
