Leslie Esteves is the new assistant principal of Terrace Ridge School

Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) has announced the selection of Leslie Esteves as the new assistant principal of Terrace Ridge School in Lacombe.

Esteves has been a committed member of the WCPS family, teaching Grade 1 at Iron Ridge Elementary Campus and previously at Mirror School and Crestomere School, according to a release.

She has also been an active participant in the Leadership 2000 program and the Aspiring Leaders Program, preparing her for leadership roles within the education sector.

"Leslie embodies the leadership qualities that we value at Wolf Creek Public Schools," said Sonja Dykslag, assistant superintendent of People Services.

"Her dedication to early education and her ability to connect with and inspire those around her make her a perfect fit for the role of assistant principal at Terrace Ridge School. We are excited to see her innovative approaches and leadership enrich the school community."

Esteves has specialized in early learning throughout her career, making significant contributions to the educational experiences of young learners, noted the release.

"I am thrilled to join the administrative team at Terrace Ridge School," said Esteves.

"I look forward to bringing my passion for education and leadership to serve our students, staff, and community more broadly."
