The Stettler Town and County Airport was a busy place on Sept. 2.
Volunteers from the Stettler Flying Club and the local air cadets squadron hosted the annual Stettler Flying Club Fly-in Breakfast.
The breakfast ran from 8-11 a.m. and by 9:30 a.m. around 20 aircraft from outside the region had signed in, though many more than that were on the ground.
Aircraft of all shapes and sizes, including helicopters flew in for the well-attended event which saw hundreds from the local community gather.
As part of the morning, Lacombe-based General Lee Aviation was on sight offering 15-minute flights around the area for $75, as well as letting people check out a simulator they had also brought with them.
The breakfast cost $12 for adults for an all-you-can-eat meal including eggs, pancakes and sausages as well as your choice of juice or coffee.
