There was plenty of glitz and glamour at this year's Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce Awards gala.
The event, held Oct. 25 at the Lacombe Memorial Centre, followed a 'Roaring 20s' theme, and many in attendance arrived decked out in fashions reflective of the legendary era.
This year's winners included Lauren Rankin (Hairapy Salon and Spa) who won Young Entrepreneur of the Year; 5024 General Store (Best New Business of the Year); At Home Escape Rooms (Best Home Based Business); Stingel Contracting (Small Business of the Year); Sobeys (Large Business of the Year), and Chantelle Lembicz (Person of the Year).
Rounding out the list was the Ellis Nature Centre (Non Profit of the Year), Brian Williams (Lifetime Achievement); Bentley Cycle (Best Business in Lacombe County); the Congdon Family (Farm Family of the Year), and Shelby Bruce of Lacombe Ford (Customer Service).
