The Federal Election Forum that was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 23, has been cancelled.

Despite reaching out to candidates and planning efforts, the Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce had to cancel the event.

"We understand how important these forums are in helping residents make informed decisions, but without broader participation, we do not feel it would serve the community or be a fair use of time for the remaining candidates,” said Wendy Buyar, Executive Director of the Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce.

The Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce is committed to fostering civic engagement and looks forward to offering future opportunities for dialogue between candidates and the community.
