Lacombe County and the Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce are partnering for a second year on the Farm Family of the Year Award, which recognizes the achievements and contributions of ranch and farm families within the community.

Eligible nominees must be Lacombe County producers whose primary source of income is agriculture.

The winners of this award will be announced at the chamber gala in October.

"Their dedication and innovation continue to drive the agricultural sector forward, thus ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. We are excited to celebrate their accomplishments,"  said Reeve Barb Shepherd.

The award acknowledges excellence in technical farm production and sustainability practices, family farm business management, agricultural industry involvement, and community and rural citizenship.

Nominations can be submitted in person or by email to communications@lacombecounty.com.
