On Sept. 27, the Lacombe Police Service responded to a pedestrian hit by a car on Woodland Dr. at the intersection of Lincoln Park Blvd.
A young person was transported by EMS to Red Deer Regional Hospital, according to a release.
Later, the person was transported by STARS to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Calgary in serious but stable condition.
The incident is under investigation at this time.
