Wolf Creek Public Schools appoints new assistant facilities manager

Wolf Creek Public Schools has appointed Ryan Stephens as their assistant facilities manager.

Stephens, raised in the Clive/Lacombe area, has over 15 years of experience in the plumbing and gasfitting trades.

He's a certified Journeyman Plumber and Class B Gasfitter and has experience with HVAC and hydronic heating systems, blueprint interpretation, and the safe and efficient use of a wide range of tools and materials.

"Stephens also has proven experience leading teams, overseeing construction and renovation projects, and maintaining exceptional safety standards, having worked over 17 years in hazardous settings without a lost-time incident," stated a release.

“Ryan’s blend of technical skill, leadership experience, and dedication to safety and quality makes him an outstanding addition to our Facilities team,” said Sonja Dykslag, assistant superintendent of People Services.

“His local roots and understanding of our schools and communities are an added strength.”

“I’m excited to be joining Wolf Creek in this role,” said Stephens. “Having grown up in this area, it means a lot to be able to support the schools and communities I know so well.

"I look forward to working with the Facilities team to help create safe, functional spaces for students and staff.”
