Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) recently announced the appointment of Kevin Frank as the district's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) coordinator.
Frank is the assistant principal of Ecole Secondaire Lacombe Composite High School (ESLCHS)
Effective August, 2025, Frank will serve as the OHS coordinator at 0.50 FTE, sharing the portfolio with Ian Wilson, who will continue as the coordinator of Health and Wellness (0.50 FTE).
WCPS states Frank has a strong foundation in safety protocols and incident response planning, for example, he recently worked on the ESLCHS modernization project, serving as liaison between the school and Shunda Construction.
“Kevin brings a thoughtful and practical approach to leadership that will be a great asset to our division-wide OHS efforts,” said Sonja Dykslag, assistant superintendent of People Services, in a press release.
“His ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and prioritize safety aligns well with our commitment to staff and student well-being.”
Frank is well known for his "thoughtful approach to conflict resolution, team building, and communication," stated the release.
"His skills in schedule coordination, digital tool utilization, and information management position him well to support and implement WCPS’ Health and Safety Program across the division."
“I am honoured to take on this new role and look forward to working closely with Ian Wilson to support health, safety, and wellness across Wolf Creek,” said Frank.
“It’s a privilege to contribute to a system that values well-being and takes proactive steps to create safe environments for all.”
