It was a 'packed house' for rodeo action during Alix Days

This past weekend's Alix Days had plenty to offer, from a pancake breakfast and a parade to a show and shine and the 'Mainstreet Stroll - Passport to Prizes' event.

Running on both Aug. 16-17 was also the ninth annual Alix C.A.R.A. Rodeo. Fans flocked to the Agricultural grounds to take in hours of rodeo action, from barrel racing, team roping and calf scrambles to sheep riding, bull riding and breakaways.

Saturday's slack started at noon, followed by the rodeo at 4 p.m. and a cabaret wrapped up the day's festivities. There were also be food trucks onsite, along with free camping.

Other highlights of the weekend included the Show and Shine Transportation Show, and a silent auction at the Alix Wagon Wheel Museum.
