The recent Rotary Carol Festival - held over two nights at the LMC - was not just a festive event but also brought in generous support for two local charities.

Both nights were busy with two bands, four choirs, and three string ensembles in total.

The LMC was full (standing room only on Wednesday night) of generous Lacombians who donated 350 lbs of food for the Lacombe Foodbank and over $800 for Santas Anonymous Gifts for Teens, said Club member Ivor Bernatsky.

This year marked the 65th anniversary of the popular event - it is organized and hosted by the Lacombe Rotary Club each year, he added.

Last year, the event was held outdoors so the community welcomed the opportunity for the concerts to be held in the LMC again. It had also been canceled in 2020.
