Big Brothers Big Sisters Lacombe names new Executive Director

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lacombe & District (BBBS) has named their new Executive Director.

Effective Dec. 7, Brianna Berthiaume, will take over as Executive Director for the Lacombe based mentor charity.

“I am delighted to join this strong team of volunteers, staff, and Board of Directors in enhancing mentorship. I look forward to meeting everyone involved in such a wonderful agency,” said Berthiaume.

Growing up in Central Alberta, she has spent a lot of her time coaching and volunteering. Her previous involvement in another Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter will be an asset as she joins the team, with over 14 years of experience working with youth and bringing with her, a passion to advance mentoring programs.

“We are so excited to welcome Brianna as our new BBBS Executive Director. Brianna’s experience working with youth and years with the BBBS movement will provide strong leadership to BBBS of Lacombe & District. Her energy, enthusiasm, and love for our community will make a BIG difference in the lives of the youth we serve,” said outgoing, Executive Director Crystal Zens.
