After an extensive homicide investigation into the death of 25-year-old Cody Michaloski in Grande Prairie, Alta., back in Oct. 2019, a Kelowna, B.C. man has been charged in connection to the killing.

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes, with the assistance of B.C.’s gang task force and local Mounties, executed two search warrants and an arrest warrant on Wednesday (May 27) in Kelowna, where officers arrested Benjamin Pearson.

It’s unclear if the arrest was related to two police incidents, one at 1545 Bedford Avenue and another in Rutland, which also happened Wednesday.
