Lacombe County to hold cannabis public meetings

Cannabis in Your Community meetings is aimed to encourage an open, respectful community dialogue

The Cannabis in Your Community public meeting is aimed to encourage an open and respectful community dialogue around cannabis legalization in Lacombe County.

Participants will leave with an increased understanding of federal and provincial legislation related to cannabis legalization, and have an opportunity to provide input on the municipal rules and regulations related to cannabis in Lacombe County. This meeting is hosted in partnership with Alberta Health Services.

Lacombe County will be seeking feedback from participants with respect to:

  • Rules and regulations for cannabis retail, production, manufacturing and distribution facilities within Lacombe County; and
  • Rules and regulations for the public consumption of cannabis in Lacombe County

We will be in your community on…

  • Tuesday July 17 – Bentley Community Hall (6-9 pm)
  • Wednesday July 18 – Mirror Hall (6-9 pm)
