Inspiration can come from so many sources – from the environment, experience, people, and more.

Local artist Trenton Leach’s new exhibit, ‘Culmination of Inspiration’, showcases these varied concepts.

Working with musicians, visiting a museum, and garnering inspiration through other artists – this exhibit shows a variety of sculptures and wall art that combines all sources of inspiration. T

Leach creates art with metal, glass, wood, and stone; always being on the lookout for different ways to incorporate different mediums into his art and anticipating the moments that become new sources of inspiration.

Leach is a Central Alberta artist who also creates public and private sculptures using stained glass and metal.

He teaches metal sculpture at the summer art ‘Series’ program at Red Deer Polytechnic and stained-glass classes at Lacombe Performing Arts Centre.

His inspiration for art often comes from nature, travel, painters, and musicians. He has actively been an artist for over 22 years and works in his studio, Rogue Art and Design, here in Lacombe.

Join Leach for the exhibit opening on Jan. 25th from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Lacombe Performing Arts Centre, (5227 C&E Trail).

View the exhibit until Feb. 21st.

The LPAC is open Mondays to Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
