Lacombe residents invited to attend council meetings online

In-person attendance is not permitted

There is a regular council meeting today, March 23, 2020, at City Hall.

While in-person attendance is not permitted, residents and the news media are encouraged to follow the proceedings on the City’s YouTube channel.

To comply with section 199(1) of the Municipal Government Act, which permits conducting council or committee meetings through electronic communications, and to observe social distancing guidelines put in place to help contain the spread of the coronavirus, some members of Council will participate in this meeting – and future meetings – via teleconferencing.

Following the recent declaration of a provincial state of public health emergency under the Public Health Act, all City of Lacombe facilities, including City Hall, will remain closed to the public until further notice.
