Lacombe and District Family and Community Support Services (Lacombe FCSS) will be able to help send more kids to camp this summer thanks to the 2022 Vesta Campership Program.

Thomas Everett, with Vesta Energy said that they approached Lacombe FCSS to inquire about fundraising and sponsorship opportunities. That’s when they learned about the existing camper program and decided to revitalize the program with a donation of $4,000.

“This will make a difference in the lives of families in our community and provide equal opportunities to all children and youth in our community,” said Crystal Zens, Lacombe FCSS executive director.

Kids in the city or county of Lacombe can apply to Lacombe FCSS for any camp of their choice and qualifying kids will receive sponsorship.

For application information contact Lacombe FCSS at 403-782-6637.
