Waterfield and her family moved to Lacombe in 2011 from the Camrose area. A married, mom of three children, she started Gift Smack Gift Company in 2017, on a bit of a whim and since their grand opening in 2020, Gift Smack has grew in leaps and bounds.
“I love when people design their own gifts and it’s so much fun to see and honestly I live for the notes that they write,” says Waterfield. “People always have the nicest things to say, but lately we have been so separated. You an feel the emotion in their words and I love it all, happy messages, messy messages. I have cried and laughed on so many occasions.”
