The City of Lacombe advises residents that the advanced warning “no-left turn” sign for southbound Hwy. 2A traffic is not correctly activating when trains approach the 47th Ave./Hwy. 2A intersection.
The City has ordered a replacement electronic sign box, which will arrive in about 10 weeks.
Temporary signage is in place and is visible to southbound traffic on Hwy. 2A.
Truckers using this roadway should avoid making left turns at this intersection. All other signals are operating correctly.
