Dayton Trey Buffalo wanted for aggravated assault and failing to comply with an order from an incident that occurred on June 27, 2018 in Ponoka.

Ponoka RCMP are looking for an 18-year-old wanted for aggravated assault in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred at the Ponoka Stampeded grounds.

Dayton Trey Buffalo is wanted for aggravated assault and failing to comply with an order from the incident that happened on June 27. He is considered dangerous and should not be approached if contacted.

Police responded to a report of a stabbing at the Ponoka Stampede grounds after an altercation between two males. A male victim was stabbed with a knife and suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the altercation. Police do not believe this was a random incident.

Buffalo lives in Samson First Nation and is also known to have frequented the Wetaskiwin area.

He is described as First Nations, 5’5” tall and weighing 121 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
