Lacombe residents set an unofficial Guinness World Record recently at the ME Global Athletic Park as 889 participants, wearing coloured garbage bags, held a Christmas tree formation for over five minutes under the eyes of official timekeepers.

It would break the previous record of 852 set by a group in Thailand.
