Stolen vehicle found on fire in a field east of Hwy. 2A and 63rd St.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lacombe Police Service

Between 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on June 19th, a 2006 black Kia Sedona was stolen from the 5200 block of 47th St. in Lacombe.

A short time later the vehicle was located set on fire in a field East of Hwy. 2A and 63rd St. in Lacombe.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Police are asking residents in all areas of the City to be extra vigilant and to immediately report any suspicious person(s), vehicles or unusual activity in their neighbourhood to police.

Anyone with any information on this theft and arson should call the Lacombe Police Service at 403-782-3279 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477. If they witness what appears to be a crime in progress, they should call 911.
