In response to the Province of Alberta’s State of Public Emergency declaration, the Town of Blackfalds has chosen to not move forward with the Restriction Exemption Program (REP).

As of Sept. 20, Town facilities will move to one-third fire code occupancy in addition to social distancing and mandatory face coverings requirements for Town facilities, including the Abbey Centre, Civic Centre, FCSS Office, and the Eagle Builders Centre.

Groups who will be renting facilities as separate entities will be able to implement the REP for their own events or keep with one-third the capacity at their own discretion.

FCSS Youth programming will run as scheduled and face coverings are required for all registrants.

Adult fitness classes and programs will be postponed for the next week until more clarification comes from AHS and registrants will be contacted for rescheduling.

Details regarding the restrictions are available online blackfalds.ca
