Lacombe County Reeve Ken Wigmore cuts the ribbon to open the Lacombe County trail, the latest link of the Trans Canada Trail to be completed in the area. The trail connects Blackfalds to Lacombe and features a boardwalk, picnic area and natural area near Lacombe Lake.
