Traffic was diverted around Lacombe Sunday evening following a police incident on Hwy 2A.
Just after 6 p.m. on Sunday, RCMP closed Highway 2A south of Lacombe and began diverting traffic south of Lacombe (near Range Road 270A), following a fire-arms related complaint.
A suspect was taken into custody and roadblocks in the area were removed around 8 p.m..
RCMP will provide further details depending on investigation.
