Beulah Giesbrecht (Nee Loewen) was born in Swalwell, Alberta on February 24, 1922. Beulah married her husband, Emil, on January 10, 1946. Beulah and Emil raised their family of ten children on a farm near Clive, Alberta. After Emil's passing in 1995, Beulah remained on the farm for several years, helping with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beulah tended a lifelong love of gardening and flowers. She embraced her independence by obtaining a scooter to drive to local stores for supplies. Beulah then moved to the Golden Leisure Lodge in Ponoka for 6 years, where she enjoyed the games and outside garden area. Beulah had a sharp and outstanding memory for birthdays and additions to the family. On October 30, 2021, Beulah passed peacefully at the Northcott Care Center in Ponoka, Alberta at the age of 99, where she spent her final months. She was predeceased by her husband Emil; six brothers; two sisters; her daughter Audrey Stenerson; and grandson Michael Giesbrecht. She will be missed.
