February 5, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Clifford Thomas Lee on February 5, 2020 at the age of 93 years.
Cliff worked for the Town of Lacombe for 42 years. He won the Wild Rose Recreation Award. He was a gentle man who loved animals and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Cliff was a horseman and sat tall in a saddle enjoying our West Country with family. After his retirement he kept himself busy with woodworking, fishing (at the Narrows) and countless hours visiting with friends and family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Effie in 1995. Cliff will be lovingly remembered by his children, Bill (Lorraine) Lee, Phyllis (Randy) Pross, George (Tom) Sawyer and Audra Lee (Don Bystrom); his ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild; his sister, Barb Yargeau; his niece, Janette and nephew, Bill as well as his granddaughter Terra Pross who was devoted to her Poppa and was with him everyday to the end. He will also be sadly missed by his fishing buddy Rob (Joyce) Saunders who frequently visited with him as well as his great friends, Ed and Betty Kuepser, who checked up on him every day. It was because of these and other friends as well as his very attentive family that Cliff was able to remain in his own home until his passing.
All are welcome to come to a "Come and Go Tea" in Cliff's honour at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 79, 5138 - 49th Street, Lacombe, Alberta on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 between 1 - 4 pm.
