1930-2020 ~ Dorothy May Miller passed away peacefully in her residence, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the age of 90 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Judy Fleury, Kenny Miller, Audrey (Fred) Dool, Gordon Miller and Nora (Murray) Woodrow; her ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; as well as numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Allan Miller in 1977.
Dorothy was born in Lacombe on February 4, 1930, where she was raised, received her education and raised her family until her move to Red Deer to be closer to her daughters.
Dorothy became a widow at the age of 45 years and through her strength and determination raised her five children while working at the Lacombe Hospital in food service. Her hands were seldom idle while knitting treasures and gifts for her family.
A Family Graveside Services will be held the Fairview Cemetery, Lacombe, Alberta.
