With deep sadness the family of Mr. Heinrich "Heinz" Wilhelm Hartmann announce his sudden passing on July 28, 2021 at the age of 88 years.
Heinz was born in Worbis, Germany on May 28, 1933. He married Elisabeth in 1957 and they immigrated to Canada that same year. They spent most of their lives in the Central Alberta area, enjoying gardening, farming, and country living. Heinz was a master craftsman stonemason, had taken his training in Germany and did beautiful residential work until his retirement.
He is predeceased by his wife, Elisabeth, and survived by his children, Sue McDonald, Ralph (Nancy) Hartman, Louise (Smoky) Hartmann, grandchildren Darryl (Krista) Hartman, Dillon (Danielle) McDonald, and Cody McDonald, and three great grandchildren.
Heinz had a compassionate, generous nature and will be missed by those close to him. At his request, no services will be held.
