It is with great sadness the family of Ike Cadogan wishes to announce Ike passed away peacefully in Lacombe on Sabbath, July 7, 2023, at the age of 85.
Ike is survived by Janice, his loving wife of 53 years, sons Trevor Cadogan (California) and David Cadogan (Alaska), brother David Cadogan (Toronto), and sister Shirley Cadogan (Toronto), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and extended family and an abundance of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ada Cadogan, his brother William Cadogan, and sister Gloria Raymond.
Ike was born in Barbados and moved to Canada to pursue higher education, eventually managing his own printing company in Winnipeg. He moved to Lacombe, Alberta in 1990 where Trevor and David attended high school and college.
His love of golf followed him throughout his life, leading to many lasting friendships and countless found golf balls.
A celebration of his life will take place on Sunday, July 23 at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel.
