John Larry Samson

With great sadness, the family announce the passing of John Samson, in Lacombe, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
John is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters, Cher and Sandra (Luke); grandsons, Bodhi, Kai, Sequoia, Wyatt, and Hunter; sisters, Loris (Mike) and Lorna (Len); and nephew, Adam.
John devoted his working life to the oilfield (Piston Well Services Inc.). Harleys, quads, and jeeps were his passion. He loved family gatherings and his home.
John left us with much more than we could ever thank him for....
Sincere thanks to the staff at the Lacombe Hospital for their loving care of John in his final days. A Funeral Service for John will be held at Wilson's Funeral Chapel (6120 Hwy 2A, Lacombe) on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
