It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Dubas wishes to announce that she has passed away in the Red Deer Hospice on September the Third, 2020 at the age of 57 after a long and courageous battle against cancer.
Judy is survived by her sisters, Lorena, Marlene, Willow, and Elsie; her brother, Chester; her husband, Tom and her daughters, Maegan and Sam, in addition to her granddaughter, Penny, as well as numerous extended family and an abundance of friends.
A loving mother and wife, Judy was born in Prince George, BC. She traveled across the provinces with her family as a child before settling in Pleasantdale, Saskatchewan. After joining the Armed Forces and meeting her husband, Tom, they moved to Fort Erie, ON. Eventually, they moved to Lacombe, AB where she worked as a Library Technician at Parkland Regional Library.
Judy enjoyed knitting, crochet, riding motorcycles and baking all kinds of things, from deserts to bread. She will be sorely missed for her determination and smile.
Special thanks to the Hospice staff for taking care of her during her final days.
A Celebration of Judy's life has taken place on September 15, 2020.
