It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of LaVerne O'Neill on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the Red Deer Hospice at the age of 90.
"Think back to the fun we had
I am always here, I hear you speak
In time of trouble it's me you seek
You don't see me, but I see you
I will do my best to pull you through"
LaVerne is survived by one sister (Violet of Calgary), 3 daughters, Kellee (Tim) of Lacombe, Maureen of Medicine Hat, Shauna (Fred) of Red Deer, 1 son, Bruce (Kim) of Blackfalds, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
When asked about her most notable achievements, she stated "I raised four beautiful children - damn it, that's an achievement!"
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta.
