In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness we share that Noell Marguerite Duffy passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Noell was born in Lacombe, Alberta in 1938 to Clarence and Isabel Duffy. She passed in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 85.
Noell will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 34 years Barry Wakeford, her daughters Lori Briggs (Jay Reich), Julie Mirdoch, Danelle Mirdoch (Kaari Hornseth) and granddaughters Holly (Matt) Waldorf and Rebecca (Jeff) Fleming.
A special light in Noell's life was her great-granddaughter Sydney Waldorf. Noell will also be missed by her sisters Lois Burley and Shirley McCallum, sister-in-law Leona Duffy, Barry's children and grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents and brother John Duffy.
A private graveside ceremony will be held in June and a celebration of life will occur at a later date.
