April 24, 1940 - August 28, 2018
Ralph Gammon Bell was the eldest son born to John and Nellie Bell on April 24, 1940 in Lacombe, Alberta and left us peacefully in his home after a lengthy illness on August 29, 2018.
He spent his entire life in Clive except for the two winters he worked away from home.
Ralph received his entire schooling in Clive, and drove school bus for thirty plus years, was a member of the Clive Chamber of Commerce, served on the Clive Hardware and Building Co--op board, helped build the present curling rink and arena, plus helped his wife accomplish many of her dreams and projects for the community.
Ralph was predeceased by his brothers Donald and Dwight, his father John, and mother Nellie.
He leaves to cherish his memory and grieve his passing his loving wife of fifty years, Louise, his strong and caring sons Stacey and wife Susy and family, Robert and wife Shauna and family, and Kenneth and Laurie, and a devoted, loving sister Donna Barnes and her family as well as many friends.
Ralph will be remembered for his commitment to his family, farm and community. His generous nature and willingness to lend a helping hand were all done with a chuckle and few words.
His memorial was held in the form of a open house at the family farm on September 2nd, 2018.
Memorial donations in memory of Ralph Bell can be made to the Neighborhood Revitalization Association (NRA) for the Elite Treasure Chest which will aid in the building of a stronger local community.
