Robert E. (Rick) Seaton

Robert E. Seaton (Rick) died at home on October 19th. He was 80 years old. He lived on the mainland working as a mechanic where he met his future wife Betty. They married in 1970 and moved to the Island in 1971. He was one of the original group who formed the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Ladysmith, and also spent time volunteering for Mount Brenton Power Squadron and the Maritime Society. He loved boating and enjoyed many cruises around the Islands, Desolation Sound, the mainland and the San Juans. Spending the winter for many years in Yuma AZ.
He is survived by his Wife Betty, Daughter Sandra (Bruce), Son Eric, Grandchildren Spencer (Kalie), Mya (Nico) and Great-grandchildren Adelaide and Lucille.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Eagles Hall, Ladysmith on Sunday, November 26th from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
