It is with great sadness the family of William (Bill) Robert Atkinson of Lacombe AB wishes to announce his passing at the age of 87.
William is survived by his devoted wife Lilly, Son William (Jr) and his wife Valerie. Grandchildren Erin and William (Liam). Nieces, Nephews, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
William was predeceased by Son Michael Atkinson.
William was an active member of the community and was a member of the Jasper Place Police Force and later Administrator of various Hospitals and Nursing Homes, including Ponoka General Hospital.
He and Lilly enjoyed camping trips and square dancing. Time spent with family was important.
Funeral service will be held at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, Thursday Apr 24 at 10:30 AM.
