“May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your plans.” – Psalm 20:4

As we near the end of the school year, we realize this would ordinarily be a time of gathering together to celebrate many important achievements of students and staff across our Division.

Ceremonies and events have been postponed, cancelled, or taken on non-traditional forms. Diplomas, certificates, and awards can’t be presented with a hug or a handshake. Large parties or meals with friends and loved ones will be scaled back to small, outdoor gatherings with physical distance maintained.

The situation certainly isn’t what we’re used to, or even what we expected earlier this year, but some important things are unchanged: we remain connected through faith and friendships, we still see one another’s achievements, and we celebrate them as much as ever.

To graduates of STAR Catholic and every other school division, be incredibly proud of what you have accomplished. You have grown and matured into amazing individuals with unlimited potential. As far as you have come, this is only the beginning of what you will achieve! Congratulations, and may God be with you as you embark on this exciting new journey.

To those entering high school, including grade 9s students we bid farewell to as they leave our Division, may you continue to embody the values of kindness, service, and compassion you have learned over the years as you become leaders and role models for younger students. May God grant you His guidance as you continue to accomplish incredible things.

To our talented and passionate staff, including those celebrating special achievements or milestones, we offer our deepest gratitude. Thank you for years of commitment to our students and their success, and for embodying the love of Christ in every relationship you’ve made. Your efforts are never unnoticed or unappreciated, and we are truly blessed to have you as part of the STAR Catholic family.

To everyone celebrating this month or in the months to follow, we offer our sincere congratulations and well wishes! May God bless you and grant you every success and happiness during this chapter and the next.
