It was a busy weekend for the Blackfalds Bulldogs with back to back games.

Starting with a game at the new Eagle Builders Centre on Dec. 3 against the Drayton Valley Thunder.

The team worked for a 3-2 win in overtime.

The Blackfalds Bulldogs Foundation was also a winner that night as Cilantro and Chive handed over a cheque for $1,278 following the Burger of the Month special, the “Barkburger’”.

“Building an AJHL franchise from scratch is no small feat and the Blackfalds Bulldogs have added an element that very few junior hockey teams across Canada have,” said Dustin Moore, Blackfalds Bulldogs Foundation Executive Director.

The Bulldogs Foundation, which was started in April 2021, is currently working with numerous community partners and organizations and look forward to continuing volunteering and investing into our Central Alberta Community.

“With the vision of owners Jodie and Doug Quinn, the Bulldogs Foundation mission is to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of Central Alberta by identifying and addressing current community needs through fundraising and volunteering”.

Barkley, the Blackfalds Bulldogs mascot helped hand over $1, 278 to the Bulldogs Foundation.

The Bulldogs were out of town on Dec. 4 at the Centennial Civic Centre Arena in Lloydminster facing the Lloydminster Bobcats where they fell short 1-4.
