The Lacoka Junior Locos only had one game this past weekend.

They played against the Red Deer Renegades on Saturday with a very short bench as the team had several players missing due to graduation, work and family commitments.

With only eight runners, the Locos couldn’t match the full roster of the Red Deer squad and lost 20-1.

Jordan Smyth scored the only goal.

Next action is on June 14th at 7 p.m. in Lacombe when they host the Medicine Hat Sun Devils and then a quick turn around as they travel to Lethbridge on June 15th for at 12:30 p.m. game against the Barracudas.

Lacoka Minor Lacrosse teams had much better success with both their midget and bantam teams beating Stettler on Sunday in Lacombe. Updated standings and scores should be available on the CALL web site.

Playoffs for the minor teams begin this weekend.
